FAQs - payment, shipping, returns etc
Payment and Secure ordering
- We use Paypal to process payments so accept all credit cards listed on the side bar. We do not have a record of your card number.
- If you want to pay by direct debit into our New Zealand bank account or cheque please email us at orders@sonsie-swimwear.com and we will send you the details. Your swimwear will be dispatched as soon as the funds have cleared into our account.
- All orders are charged in New Zealand dollars. If you use a credit card registered overseas, the total will be determined by the card issuer, based on the exchange rate at the time your card is charged. Please be aware that your card issuer may charge a fee for currency conversion – if you are unsure, please contact them before placing your order.
- There is a currency convertor on the website, but please note that this is only an approximation of what your credit card issuer will charge as explained above.
- All our prices include shipping and the NZ tax GST. Although goods sent to addresses outside NZ are not subject to GST, customers pay the same prices across the world as this helps us to recover some of the additional costs of providing a service to international customers (eg. increased shipping costs).
Shipping/Delivery
- Shipping costs are included in the price of your swimwear.
- We aim to process your order within the following working day. New Zealand time is GMT + 12 hours so we are often busily working away while most of the world is asleep!
- All orders are sent by courier. We cannot deliver to a PO Box so give us your home, work or other delivery address where there is a person to take delivery. We use NZ Post couriers within New Zealand and DHL Express for offshore.
- If your package does not arrive within the time set out below please email us a orders@sonsie-swimwear.com so we can query this with the courier company.

Customs and import duties
If you live outside New Zealand, please be aware that in some cases local customs or import duties may be charged when your parcel reaches your country. You will be responsible for these charges.
Returns and exchanges

We hope that you will be pleased with your order but, if you are not, we are happy to refund or exchange items. Please follow this procedure if you wish to return/exchange:
- Email us at returns@sonsie-swimwear.com and tell us what you want to do.
- We will reply with the address and an info sheet to send it back with.
- Return them to us unworn, with all labels intact, within 28 days.
- Please be aware that post and packaging is not refundable.
- Sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged for other products.
