There are currently four pieces in the Sonsie range:
1. Bikini top
2. Tankini top
3. Tie-side pant
4. Wrap skirt.
Each piece is sold separately and comes in 6 colours and two sizes (read on for details).

Please note all official prices are in New Zealand dollars. There is a currency converter on the SHOP page. An estimate of the prices follows the NZ prices below. This is updated monthly and is an indication only.

Fabrics
The fabric used in Sonsie Swimwear is 80% Nylon and 20% Lycra.
If you would like to see samples of the fabrics send an email to samples@sonsie-swimwear.com with your address and we will mail them to you.
The patterns and colours we use are:

Sizing
Sonsie swimwear is designed to be flexible in fit. All the Sonsie range pieces (bikini, tankini, pant and skirt) have ties so you can adjust the fit to suit you.
The Sonsie bikinis and tankinis do not have underwires in them. We wanted a more comfortable swimsuit. We did want some support though so we have swimwear rubber in all the bands of the swimwear. This gives extra support and stops the straps turning into narrow strings that feel as if they are cutting into you. The support in a Sonsie bikini or tankini is about half way between a traditional "string' bikini and a bra.
There are currently two basic sizes - Small and Average.

Measure around your ribcage, under your breasts - Small is generally within the 75 - 85 cm or 30 - 34 inches range.
Measure around your hips/butt and move the tape measure up and down to find the widest part. Small is generally: 90 - 100 cm or 35 - 40 inches. | AVERAGE

USA - approx 10-12-14
Measure around your ribcage, under your breasts - Average is generally within the 88 - 100 cm or 35 - 40 inches.
Measure around your hips/butt and move the tape measure up and down to find the widest part. Average is generally: 100 - 115 cm or 40 - 46 inches. |
Fitting tips
- Many sonsie women have large boobs and small hips (no waist). If this is you and your measurements are at the lower end of the scale, you will probably be a Small size in the pant and skirt. The pants are a generous cut.
- If you are short-waisted or under average height you may find the tankini is more flattering if you have it shortened by a few cms/inches. Pin it up and see how it looks.
- The skirt can be worn any way around but we prefer it wrapping at the back and sitting about 5-7cms/2-3inches below the waist.
- You can wear the tankini over the bikini and it gives even more support.
